www.kochfoods.comAn Antioch Farms product -- raw stuffed chicken breast breaded, boneless breast of chicken with rib meat a la Kiev -- was linked to salmonella. A recall of chicken contaminated with salmonella that at first appeared to be limited to Minnesota has been expanded to 16 states, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The initial recall notice issued last week only mentioned that the products had been shipped to distribution centers and retailers in Minnesota. But a list of retailers that sold the chicken --including Albertsons and Shaw's -- includes stores in 16 states. Aspen Foods, a division of Koch Meats in Chicago, announced the recall at the request of the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service after Minnesota health officials and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified a cluster of salmonella cases that appeared to be connected to Antioch Farms prepackaged chicken Kiev. In addition to Minnesota, the chicken was sold in Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Salmonella Linked to Chicken Kiev The recall involves 28,980 pounds of chicken products with sell-by dates of Oct. 1, 2015 and Oct. 7, 2015. Each package should have a USDA inspection mark with the facility number "P-1358" inside. The product identified by health officials as having caused the illnesses is "raw stuffed chicken breast breaded, boneless breast of chicken with rib meat a la Kiev." The first cases of salmonella were brought to the USDA's attention earlier this month. At least six people have had confirmed cases, with one hospitalized, the USDA said. An investigation tied the illnesses back to the facility where the chicken was produced. Consumption of food contaminated with salmonella can cause salmonellosis, the USDA says. The most common symptoms are diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever within 12 to 72 hours after eating the contaminated product. The illness usually lasts four to seven days, and most people recover without treatment. Older adults, infants and people with weakened immune systems are more likely to develop a severe illness. Ad! visors' Opinion:- [By Teresa Rivas]
This could eventually cut the number of North American Class Is in half, something that the regulators will take under very serious consideration before giving their blessings on the first merger. If a CP-CSX union occurs, Norfolk Southern (NSC) would be the next target, in our opinion, as Canadian National Railway (CNI), Union Pacific (UNP), and [Berkshire Hathaway's (BRKB)] BNSF could each contemplate forming their own transcontinental railway. CP's reported offer to merge with CSX could boost the latter's stock price on Monday, while CP shares may underperform the group.

Shareholders are happy with the performance that railroad giant Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC ) has put in recently, climbing to record highs as the industry emerges from an especially difficult period. But even with things looking brighter for rail transportation, Norfolk Southern has some obstacles to overcome to convince investors that its strong stock performance is justified. Let's look at three of the most significant factors that could send shares of Norfolk Southern falling in the near future.

4. Cyclical stocks outperform defensive stocks – This puts consumer discretionary, energy, financials, industrials, technology and materials all doing better than consumer staples, healthcare, telecom, and utilities. Doll also prefers a free cash flow yield to dividend yield and dividend growth over dividend yield.

Dividends, stock buy-backs, capex, and M&A all increase at a double-digit rate – This is led by a lot of cash flow, underleveraged balance sheets, and possible great places to use cash. The argument for higher cap-ex is as follows: “Pent-up demand and aging of plant, equipment and technology argue for increases in those key areas.”

For U.S. Bancorp, a fine of this magnitude is nothing more than a slap on the wrist. However, it is a harbinger for change in how regulators view third-party relationships. So if two single people each earned $200,000, they wouldn't be subject to the Obamacare tax at all. But if they got married, then $150,000 of their total income of $400,000 would get taxed, with an additional tax liability of $1,350. Similar situations with investment income could lead to a much larger marriage penalty, as the investment tax rate is more than quadruple the rate for wages.Investors in dividend-oriented ETFs Vanguard High Dividend Yield (NYSEMKT: VYM ) , SPDR S&P Dividend (NYSEMKT: SDY ) , and iShares DJ Select Dividend (NYSEMKT: DVY ) should therefore take care to consider tax-favored investment vehicles for their investments.

Because of low bond yields, many retirees have turned to dividend-paying stocks for yield, but by doing so, they've also increased the risk that the 4% retirement rule won't work. Dividend ETFs Vanguard High Dividend Yield (NYSEMKT: VYM ) and iShares Select Dividend (NYSEMKT: DVY ) both offer yields between 3% and 4%, but the average earnings multiples of the stocks they own have gotten fairly pricey recently, trading at around 16 and 19 times earnings respectively. Even the more conservative dividend ETF Vanguard Dividend Appreciation (NYSEMKT: VIG ) , which looks more at historical dividend growth rather than current yield in choosing stocks, has a multiple of 16 -- higher than you'd want from the slower-growth companies that often end up being the best dividend payers.

But Sbarro is hardly the only restaurant struggling to make ends meet right now. Indeed, there are several more that may be following in the pizza chain’s bankruptcy footsteps. In no particular order, here are five more restaurants that may be fiscally insolvent in the foreseeable future.
Cosi (COSI)The sandwiches may be delicious, but the menu Cosi Inc. (COSI) offers at its 136 restaurants is increasingly irrelevant, either for price (the average ticket size is about $8.81), convenience, or both.

At the end of last week, small cap sandwich stock Potbelly Corp (NASDAQ: PBPB) had a delicious surge of 120% for its IPOmeaning its probably a good idea to see whether its still worth getting in on the action plus take a look at the performance of peersCosi Inc (NASDAQ: COSI), Panera Bread Co (NASDAQ: PNRA) and Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc (NASDAQ: BAGL) as Subway remains private. I should mention that competing with Subway in the sandwich business is a tall order as they have 40,229 restaurants in 102 countries and territories as of early Septembermaking them thelargest single-brand restaurant chain and the largest restaurant operator globally. However, Potbelly Corp and its peers Cosi Inc, Panera Bread Co and Einstein Noah Restaurant Group aren slugging it out directly with Subway.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Geoff Gannon] ADDvantage (AEY). How you feel about how those companies use working capital has a lot to do with whether or not you like those stocks long-term.
Then there are companies that have increased working capital very, very fast over the last decade or so but theye also increased sales at a startling clip.
That Carbo.
Let look at where the difference between EBITDA and operating cash flow is coming from.
Cash flow from others as shown on GuruFocus 10-year financials page for Carbo Il use this as a proxy for working capital changes was positive in only two years. And not by much. Usually, it been negative. Over the 10 years, that single line has added up to a negative $173 million. Wow.
Okay. Then there the difference between free cash flow and owner earnings. Owner earnings as youl remember is Warren Buffett calculation of what a business could pay out to owners in cash at the end of the year if it stopped growing. But didn shrink. More on that later. For now, let look at the difference between Carbo depreciation and Carbo spending on property, plant and equipment.
Over the last 10 years, cap-ex has been: $546 million (or $425 million if you allow cap-ex to provide cash flow in certain years, this is a weird issue I don want to touch right now)
And over the last 10 years, depreciation has been: $201.52 million
That a big gap. Wee got some combination of Carbo underreporting economic depreciation by anywhere from $225 million to $350 million or so or wee got Carbo investing something like $225 million to $350 million in growth.
Which is it?
Let check the growth angle first.
Over the last 10 years, Carbo has grown total sales by just under 18% a year. Now, I happen to know their new product development record had not been so hot during the 1990s or earlier part of the 2000s. For about 15 years they spent on R&D without

On the flip side, Lakeland Industries (LAKE), a maker of hazmat suits -- soared nearly 50%.
But the tension is the market seems deeper than just Ebola or even ISIS. There's ongoing worry about how unhealthy Europe's economy is. There was little data out Monday, but more members of the Federal Reserve are starting to voice concern about what's going on around the globe.

What is Lakeland Industries (LAKE)?
Lakeland IndustriesI’m glad you asked. Lakeland gets more than 90% of its revenue from the manufacture and sale safety garments, and on Sept. 12, it reminded the world that it makes hazmat suits that can be used to stave off Ebola.
With the deadly virus having finally made its way to US shores, investors are paying attention again today, sending Lakeland’s shares soaring on high volume.
Shares of Lakeland have gained 8.6% to $7.55, well above its Sept. 12 closing price of $6.85 (though below its high of $9.40 touched on that day).
Lakeland joins Tekmira (TKMR) and other biotech stocks as those benefiting from the Ebola scare. Let’s hope it doesn’t last.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By John Udovich]
We are two trading weeks into the new year and the 3D printing sector along with 3D printer stocks like ExOne Co (NASDAQ: XONE), Stratasys, Ltd (NASDAQ: SSYS),3D Systems Corporation (NYSE: DDD) and Makism 3D Corp (OTCBB: MDDD) have been printing their share of red ink for investorsdespite the fact that 3D printing got plenty of attention atlast week'sConsumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas while thebroader stock market rally has largely held up. With that in mind, here is the latest 3D printer stock or sector news you need to be aware of:
- [By James E. Brumley]
They say the great ones withstand the test of time. If that's true of stocks (and it is), then it's becoming increasingly safer to say Makism 3D Corp. (OTCMKTS:MDDD) is one of the great ones within the 3D printing world. No, it's neither as big nor as prolific as 3D printer names like 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) or Stratasys, Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS). Then again, everything is relative; MDDD may well be packing more of a punch for its investors than SSYS or DDD have in a long time.
- [By James E. Brumley]
All well and good, but for veteran traders, there's something uneasy about the recent swelling of interest in these names... there's too much hype, and not enough substance. Enter another small cap name in the 3D printing race - Makism 3D Corp. (OTCBB:MDDD). It's not throwing any parties for itself, and it's not congratulating itself for achievements that may be a solution to a problem that doesn't actually exist. MDDD is simply on the verge of making a high-quality 3D printer at a very practical price that will appeal to individual consumers as well as businesses.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Roberto Pedone]
Emulex (ELX) is a provider of a range of network convergence solutions that intelligently connect servers, storage and networks within the data center. This stock closed up 1.6% to $8.14 in Thursday's trading session.
Thursday's Range: $8.05-$8.22
52-Week Range: $5.72-$8.99
Thursday's Volume: 727,000
Three-Month Average Volume: 786,981From a technical perspective, ELX bounced modestly higher here right above some near-term support at $7.95 with decent upside volume. This stock has been trending sideways inside of a consolidation chart pattern over the last month, with shares moving between 7.50 on the downside and $8.46 on the upside. This modest spike is now starting to push shares of ELX within range of triggering a near-term breakout trade above the upper-end of its recent sideways trading chart pattern. That trade will hit if ELX manages to take out some near-term overhead resistance levels at $8.34 to $8.46 with high volume.
Traders should now look for long-biased trades in ELX as long as it's trending above some key near-term support levels at $7.95 or $7.50 and then once it sustains a move or close above those breakout levels with volume that hits near or above 786,981 shares. If that breakout hits soon, then ELX will set up to re-test or possibly take out its 52-week high at $8.99. Any high-volume move above $8.99 will then give ELX a chance to tag its next major overhead resistance levels at $10 to $11.19.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Geoff Gannon] n. When it traded around $4.50 (it now more like $7.50 a share) it was a net-net with a good business and a moat. There were risks customer concentration for one and it was no blue chip. There was no diversification of product lines, customers, geography, industry, etc. It was closely tied to U.S. construction activity.
All this means it was no blue chip. Not that it didn have a moat. I felt it did. And certainly not that it wasn a high quality business. It demonstrably was (unleveraged returns on tangible equity were around 30%). And it was a net-net. In fact, it was a net cash stock at one time.
So they do happen. But they are rare. The usual distinction with net-nets is not between companies like that companies which may have a moat, do earn good returns on capital, etc. but between companies that are legitimate and illegitimate businesses.
A legitimate business is in my mind a historically profitable one. It is likely to have positive retained earnings (there are exceptions to this rule but it a good first check). It should have more years of profits (6 or more) than losses in the last 10 years. And it should be self-financing.
Compare this to an illegitimate business. The least legitimate businesses are those that while publicly traded have never turned a profit and can self finance. They may be net-nets but they are net-nets because they have issued stock in the past and then seen their share prices drop. Retained earnings are often negative.
There are other factors to consider. Is the business old or young? Is depreciation and other accounting especially conservative or aggressive? Are taxes especially conservative or aggressive? And is share issuance dilutive or not.
I think a legitimate business tends towards LIFO accounting, quicker depreciation, higher taxes paid as a percentage of reported income, and lower share issuance. There are exceptions. Many

I could go on like that. But I not sure I understand why knowing anything about the perceptions of others actually helps my own investment decisions. I also not sure the reasons Ie offered for the cheapness of those stocks are actually the reasons anybody else had for selling the stock, not buying it, etc. In fact, I think those are just plausible reasons I made up.
But that not the problem with wanting to know why a stock is cheap. The problem is how that knowledge or the quest for it directs your attention. And attention is the scarcest resource an investor has.
Once you know what somebody else perception is, you try to either prove or disprove that perception. In essence, I see the problem of thinking about market sentiment of worrying about the Keynesian beauty contest as being like one of those optical illusions. Like the duck-rabbit illusion. In fact, this concern of mine is one of the reasons why Ie suggested investors read Kuhn.
They often talk about some past period like the 1920s or 1950s with a total misunderstanding of what people were looking for in a stock back then. Of how they thought about stocks. Of what they thought stocks were. This isn a misanalysis of the facts. It a misclassification.
When Ben Graham started on Wall Street there was none of this tocks for the Long Runstuff. There was no talk of asset classes. There were investments called bonds. And there were speculations called stocks. And it was heresy when Ben Graham basically said a cheap stock is a better investment than an expensive bond.
You become a bad financial historian when you confuse your own perceptions your own way of classifying stocks and noting the aspects of a stock with how people really thought about stocks back then.
In the same wa
- [By Geoff Gannon] things I said was that I knew George Risk's materials cost was higher than some competitors' selling price. The fact that any company could survive under conditions like that immediately suggested that dollars paid for the product was not the key concern for this product.
Perceived costs had to involve other concerns like customization, shipping speed, reliability, etc. Because it was a low cost product going into a higher cost product going into very high cost projects it seemed likely there was the opportunity to raise prices if needed. And that's what they ended up doing. The important clue for me in that investigation was the severe cost disadvantage George Risk had. You couldn compete at such a cost disadvantage unless price was less important than I initially thought.
I think you will find that most of these insights are not available in the financial statements. They come from reading the 10-Ks of all companies in the industry, reading articles about the companies, listening to all conference call transcripts, etc.
For example, there is not much in the financial statements of Carnival (CCL) that explains how the cruise business really works. But all of the companies in the industry (CCL, RCL and NCL) freely discuss the economics of their business in great detail. They break out costs before and after fuel. They give you per-passenger prices of how much newly built ships cost. They give you lots and lots of details. They explain how they price their product (the way airlines do) and so on. There is an extreme level of detailed explanation of the business in the various conference calls, 10-Ks, etc.
A great source for this information is going back to the time the company went public or at least finding the S-1 of a competitor. When a company goes public it often gives much more detail into product economics, etc., than it will later on when it reports annual results.
That is also a good place to learn about market share, com

Best Healthcare Equipment Companies To Own In Right Now
According to a recent Trulia survey, twice as many people prefer new homes to existing homes.
So what qualifies as "new"?
"New" means exactly that: just-built properties that have never been lived in before, or homes purchased in the pre-construction phase. On the flip side, "existing" or resale homes are considered pre-owned properties, most of which were built between the 1920s and the 1970s. For the same price, 2 in 5 Americans a sizable 41% of the population either somewhat or strongly prefer a newly built home over an existing one.
Existing or older homes have the advantage of architectural charm and sizable lots, and are generally located in more established neighborhoods. Older homes, especially ones that were not meticulously maintained or renovated each decade usually need a little TLC and are often slightly less expensive than a new construction home. However, new construction homes have advantages that just might outweigh their older, more established counterparts.

Scared to Buy Solo? 4 Tips for Single House Hunters
You're single and ready to buy. Right now, house hunting might feel a bit daunting, even downright scary. But it's also one of the smartest decisions you can make, especially if you're secure in your job and committed to your location.
If you're able to overcome your fear of commitment and head into homeownership on your own, here are a few key points that should make the hunt a little easier:
Dream within your budget.
Buying a home on your own is exciting! Plus, it's great investment in your financial future. But make sure you are looking at homes you can afford, especially if you have any hiccups in your financial profile. Life changes like sudden unemployment or serious health issues are impossible to predict.
Buying a home is one of the smartest decisions you can make, especially if you're secure in your job and committed to your location.
The reality is that there are many financial hazards that could affect your ability to cover your monthly mortgage. So before you commit to a lifestyle you might not be able to afford, consider what it would take to make the additional monthly nut if you didn't have a steady source of income.
Pay attention to safety.
Not to fear monger, but when you're buying alone it's important to remember you won't be home all of the time. As a single homeowner, it's unlikely that someone will be at the house during the day — or even every night. That's why you should consider safety and security issues when you tour open houses. Of course, you want to look for a house in a low-crime neighborhood, but there are other factors to consider when you preview your new pad. Are there locks on the windows? Is the street or driveway well lit at night? Does the home come equipped with a security system? Although they aren't necessarily as enticing as stainless-steel appliances or skylights, these types of safety considerations will help you sleep better at night.
Are you a weekend warrior?
Sure, you have the benefit of enjoying your alone time in your spacious new home. But guess what? You're still alone when the faucet leaks, when ants take over the kitchen, and when the windows need washing. Oh, and did we mention that the grass is now a foot high and the driveway needs to be repaved? If you find the idea of maintaining a single family home overwhelming, then you might want to consider a condominium or townhouse. Condo association fees go toward maintaining the overall property, and that means you'll never have to worry about hauling out that rusty old lawnmower on a sunny Saturday.
Think resale from day one.
Purchasing a home is a long-term investment. But that doesn't mean you won't be ready to move one day — and there's always the possibility that day may come sooner than you think. There are many reasons to move, including relocating for a job or unexpected family obligations. (And there's always the chance that you fall for someone that lives across the country.) So even if you're rooted in your community, it's important to think about the resale value of your potential home during the search. Consider properties that have a spare bedroom, even if it's not space that you need today. If it's affordable, extra square footage is always worth the investment.

Top 10 Casino Companies To Buy For 2014
Imagine you've just purchased your dream home. It's everything you wanted. Three bedrooms, a backyard, a porch, and a great neighborhood near a nice park. You paid $300,000, which you regard as a fair price and one that fits your budget. You could not be happier.
Then one day you wake up in horror. You check Zillow.com to see your new home's estimated value, and are met with a "page not found" error. Zillow's servers are having a bad morning. A few minutes later the site is back up, but is missing data and offers no estimate of your home's value.
Panic sets in.
"Sweatheart, we have to get out of here," you holler to your wife.
"Take the kids to the neighbors. It's not safe here anymore."
Minutes later Zillow is back and running, verifying your home's estimated value at the same $300,000 you paid for it.
Still, you feel cheated. "We have to sell this place," you inform your family. "It's too dangerous. The value of our home lost 100% of its value before breakfast, and then gained it all back just as fast. I love our home, but this just feels like a casino."

Any thought that the Las Vegas gaming market would recover quickly after the recession has long since been lost, but there is a slow and steady recovery taking place in Sin City. High-end operators Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS ) and Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN ) have been seeing improved results as wealthy customers return to the casinos, but the lower end of the market, where MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM ) and Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ: CZR ) play, has been choppy to say the least.

John Raoux/AP From a questionable Hollywood sequel hitting the silver screen to a controversial theme park operator hoping to prove that it's not all wet, here are some of the things that will help shape the week that lies ahead on Wall Street. Monday -- Seizing Caesars Things are getting tense at Caesars Entertainment (CZR). The casino operator made waves last week as some of its creditors initiated a lawsuit claiming that Caesars is transferring assets out of the company as the first step to defaulting on its gargantuan debt. The corporate soap opera will have to play itself out, but on Monday afternoon we'll hear what Caesars has to say as it reports quarterly results. Given the brow-raising restructuring efforts, it's a safe bet that analysts will be asking more about the asset transfer and the lawsuit than the gaming giant's own operations, including massive renovations of The Quad. Tuesday -- Sweet Tooth for Candy Crush There has never been a mobile app as lucrative as King Digital Entertainment's (KING) Candy Crush Saga, paving the way for the casual gaming darling's initial public offering earlier this year. King went public at $22.50, but fears that the game's popularity had peaked late last year kept gains check. The stock currently trades below its March IPO price. King Digital has also used the game's success to introduce players to some of its other apps, though Candy Crush Saga still accounted for two thirds of King's gross bookings during this year's first quarter. We'll get fresh financials out of King on Tuesday, making this a great time to see if Candy Crush Saga is gaining momentum or if King is doing a better job of diversifying its revenue streams. Advisors' Opinion:- [By Matt Thalman]
While Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS ) and Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN ) are both major players in Macau, MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM ) is making a big push to grow its base in the Chinese gambling mecca, while it also has a massive footprint in Las Vegas, and the other two have a much lower room count. MGM owns a good portion of the Las Vegas Strip, and as we continue to see average daily hotel room rates rise for the city and increased gaming revenue for the strip, we will see MGM greatly benefit from a recovering American tourist industry and a stronger Las Vegas.

4. Nevada
The $8.25 minimum wage that Nevada pays comes with an interesting twist: Companies that offer health insurance benefits to their employees are allowed to pay $1 less in hourly wages. Although a referendum in 2006 required the state to index its base wage to inflation, the wage has stayed the same since 2010. Another perk: Tipped employees have to receive the same minimum wage as other workers. That's a big cost for Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS ) , Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN ) , and other companies with casinos in the state that might otherwise be able to pay many of their tip-earning workers less. - [By Louis Navellier]
Wynn Resorts (WYNN) has two casinos in Las Vegas and has two locations in Macau — the hottest gaming market in the world today. The company is showing extraordinary growth this year, with earnings up 48% so far. The latest quarter was up 98% year-over-year so the pace is accelerating as results from the Macau locations have been exceptionally strong.
- [By Travis Hoium]
Cotai continues to be the growth engine of Macau. The Macau Peninsula, where Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN ) and MGM Resorts (NYSE: MGM ) are located, have been holding steady but the growth is on Cotai, and that's why investors are willing to pay a premium for Melco Crown and Las Vegas Sands.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Ben Levisohn]
Pinnacle Entertainment (PNK) has gained 56% this year; Las Vegas Sands (LVS) has climbed 38%. And Deutsche Bank has nice things to say about both today.
BloombergFirst Pinnacle. Deutsche Bank’s Carlo Santarelli ponders the stock’s big move and comes away still seeing value in its shares. He writes:
When we upgraded PNK in April, our thesis centered on the FCF strength of the combined entities [Pinnacle completed its acquisition of Ameristar Casinos on Aug. 14], a handful of favorable catalysts, easing regional gaming comps, & an inexpensive relative valuation. Given the shares’ sizeable move since then, we believe it is worth revisiting the investment case. Post the announcement of several asset sales and the closing of the transaction, we are adjusting our estimates, raising our PT to $30 from $24, and maintaining our bullish view at current levels given what we still believe to be an attractive free cash flow valuation, meaningful potential synergy realization beyond the $40 mm of announced benefits, and a free option on a lagging regional recovery.
Santarelli also revisited Las Vegas Sands and there too, he likes what he sees. He writes:
With…LVS at [a share price level] that have been challenging to break from over the last year plus, we believe this time is different and hence we see continued upward momentum…In the case of LVS, we see; 1) meaningful mass market strength continuing through year end, setting the stage for upward company and market estimate revisions for 2014, 2) continued cash flow appreciation and capital returns serving as downside protection and positive catalysts, and 3) continued shared gains, largely driven by table optimization and mass market strength, driving both estimates and sentiment.
He also likes Wynn Resorts (WYNN), despite its 34% gain.Santarelli writes:
As for WYNN, we believe near-term estimates continue to take a back seat to capital return

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Stock Maelstrom]
We are likely approaching the last time I will be reporting on WMS Industries (WMS), the former Williams Electronics. It has agreed to be acquired by Scientific Games (SGMS) for $26 per share, plus the assumption of WMS' modest debt. The deal is scheduled to close by the end of this year. On its own, WMS is having a dismal fiscal year, which ends June 30. For this year, the company, no doubt with distracted management, earnings are likely to end at about $0.90 per share, compared with fiscal 2012's $1.31 per share. Helping drive earnings lower are additional measures the company is taking to drive up revenues, which remain well below last decade's peak. WMS' stock has flat lined the past few months at within three percent of the $26 price. There is virtually no upside, though there is downside if the deal collapses. I see no reason to get invested in WMS.
